BACKGROUND

Mareden it’s an enterprise that appears as consecuence of the federal government des-incorporation of their fishing industries in October 1990, misters Pablo and Israel Brener Brener, they observe that in the fishing industry, they have a great opportunity of business.

PRODUCTION

Mareden it’s actually an industrial complex integrated by three producers plants of tuna fish and sardine cans located at Ensenada, Baja California; Los Mochis, Sinaloa; y en el Puerto A. Lopez Mateos, Baja California Sur, their capacity it’s of 200,000 monthly boxes of sardine and 400,000 monthly boxes of tuna fish, additionally to produce frijol, abulon, shrimp, flour of fish and oil of fish.

SIZE

Our Ensenada’s plant it’s one of the biggest plants in the Republica Mexicana.

PROFILE

Actually, we sell our own brand and also we made the brand “MARCA LIBRE” and the brand “GREAT VALUE”  of the group CIFRA-WAL*MART; the tuna fish and the sardine for the brand “CHEDRAUI”; the sardine for the group Sahuayo Marinero, furthermore others sardine brands for export like Golden Crown and Crown Prince.

GOALS  

Our volume of sales in year 2000 was superior to the 100 million of pesos and for the 2001, we hope to sale over the 120 millions of pesos.
